Betty Finkelman—Crafting the perfect retirement

Betty Finkelman has always been artistic, but it wasn't until she moved to Eagle's Trace that this retired school nurse expanded her crafting palette. "I've always enjoyed painting, but I'd never worked with watercolors," says Betty. "I decided to do the watercolor class after I moved here just to try it, and I'm really enjoying it."

In addition to painting, Betty is an avid quilter and participates in the Eagle's Trace sewing group. She loves being involved in campus life and getting to know her neighbors. "The best part about living here is the new relationships that I've made," she says. "It really feels like a family."
