Pat Osborne—A passion for giving back

Pat Osborne has always been one to lend a helping hand—and since moving to Eagle's Trace, she's been volunteering more than ever. Without any maintenance to worry about, Pat has been able to focus on giving back to her community. "If anything, I'm more active now than I was before I moved," says Pat.

After spending her career as an educator, Pat now mentors at Barbara Bush Elementary School. In addition to her mentoring responsibilities, Pat has been instrumental in organizing community volunteer opportunities at Eagle's Trace. She was elected chairman of Community Outreach and coordinates opportunities for her fellow residents to give back.

Pat has organized everything from donations to children's hospitals to making peanut butter to deliver to local food banks. She's constantly impressed by the enthusiasm and warmth of her fellow Eagle's Trace residents and says that she loves "the sense of community and companionship" on campus.
