Oak Crest Introduces New Outdoor Venue

Parkville, Maryland— Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, officially opened a new outdoor venue during a ribbon cutting ceremony held on October 27.

Named Friendship Park, the 25,000 square-feet venue features three putting greens, two lighted bocce courts, a walking trail and an exercise court to be utilized by residents, family members and employees. A gazebo and fountain add to the ambience of the park.

The completion of Friendship Park is one phase of a repositioning project that includes the opening of a spacious, state-of-the-art fitness center later this year, and an aquatics center, indoor bistro...

Mrs. Stoneberg brings twenty-three years of senior health care experience to her new position, mainly as a speech pathologist in post-acute and long-term care settings. Parkville, Maryalnd-- There truly was something for everyone as residents, employees and special guests of Oak Crest were eager to get to the Erickson Living retirement community’s Annual Gala on September 16 to support the Benevolent Care Fund.

Parkville, Maryland— For many students, school might not begin until after Labor Day this year, but the preparation still begins in August.

At Oak Crest, residents, employees and their relatives contributed to the 2nd Annual “Back to School Drive” service project to provide supplies to local families who could use a helping hand. For two weeks, they donated school items such as loose-leaf paper, pens, #2 pencils, binders, folders, notebooks and book bags.
