PARKVILLE--- From their string of dramatic "walk-off" victories to the unsung heroics of players like Steve Pearce and Darren O'Day, it has been a magical season for the 2014 Baltimore Orioles, champions of the mighty American League East Division.

Oak Crest Residents Receive Behind the Scenes Look at Baltimore's Helping Up Mission

PARKVILLE, MD---Every month since 2008, fifty residents of Oak Crest retirement community meet in the Garden Terrace clubhouse to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Following their labor of love, the sandwiches are donated to local charitable organizations that provide support for the homeless and others in need. At eight hundred per month, more than 55,000 sandwiches have been generated by these volunteers since the project began in 2008. PARKVILLE, MD---With a potent offensive attack and strong pitching, the Oak Crest Good Guys, the resident softball team at the Parkville-based retirement community, earned a pair of victories to capture the Annual Erickson Living Softball Tournament. The Good Guys also won the tournament in 2011 and 2012.
