Community Partnerships of Oak Crest Benefit Two Holiday Charities

Parkville, MD— Residents of Oak Crest retirement community partnered with local businesses as they continued traditions of “giving back” to benefit two holiday charities. On November 24, fifty residents transformed Oak Crest into “Santa’s Workshop” as they filled four hundred stockings with toys, games, school supplies and other items to benefit Baltimore-area children in need during the holidays. The loaded stockings will be distributed by the Salvation Army at their Hampden center in December. The Human Resources Department of Oak Crest was no exception, as they prepared to enter the annual Halloween Costume Contest held at the Erickson Living retirement community on October 30. Parkville, MD— Bob Gralley is no stranger to racing in marathons across the mid-Atlantic. Mr. Gralley, 89, has competed in 42 of them, including the signature races in New York and Boston. Parkville, MD— On October 1, Ronald “Ki” Kent was recognized for his thirteen years of service on the Oak Crest Village, Inc. Board of Directors.
