Oak Crest Appoints Dameon Fletcher as Director of Extended Care

PARKVILLE, MD—Oak Crest retirement community announced the appointment of Dameon Fletcher to the position of Director of Extended Care.
Mr. Fletcher brings sixteen years of health care administration to his new leadership position. For the last fourteen years, he has been with Genesis Health Care, where he most recently served as the Administrator for the Patapsco Valley Center in Randallstown.
He has been a licensed nursing home administrator for nearly ten years. Additionally, Mr. Fletcher received Genesis Health Care's 2012 Administrator of the Year Award and the 2013 Center Leadership Award. 
Mr. Fletcher holds a B.S. in Sociology from Morgan State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore. Soon to be a resident of White Marsh, Maryland, he is an avid musician.
The extended care neighborhood at Oak Crest provides assisted living, respite care, post-acute rehabilitation & nursing care and outpatient rehabilitation services.
It holds the coveted Five-Star overall rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and has earned two Committed to Excellence Awards from the Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, Inc., since 2012.
Also featuring 1,520 residences in its independent living neighborhoods, Oak Crest will celebrate its 20th anniversary in March, 2015.
