Oak Crest Names Tina Kummelman as Director of Human Resources

Parkville, Maryland--Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, promoted Tina Kummelman to the position of Director of Human Resources.

Ms. Kummelman brings more than 20 years of senior living and health care experience to this new role.  Since 2013, she has served as the Human Resources Manager at Oak Crest, and previously, she worked for the LifeBridge Health System.  

In her leadership position, Ms. Kummelman will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources Department with a focus on employee recruitment and engagement.  Oak Crest has more than 1,200 full and part-time employees serving residents in its independent living and continuing care neighborhoods.    

“Since joining Oak Crest, Tina has served in a Human Resources Manager role supporting our dining and continuing care teams,” stated Mark Roussey, Executive Director.  “During that time, Tina has demonstrated a commitment to employee engagement, improving departmental performance and recognizing the value of each employee’s contributions to our residents and community.  She cares deeply about our mission and core values, and we are pleased that she has accepted this new opportunity.”

Ms. Kummelman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University.  She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM) and the Chesapeake Human Resources Association (CHRA).   

She resides in Bel Air with her children, Tyler and Emily.
