Ronald D. Jeffreys, D.O.

Medical Director

Dr. Jeffreys received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and his master's degree in psychology/ neuropsychopharmacology from American University in Washington, D.C. He received his degree in osteopathic medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also completed an internship in internal medicine. He completed his residency in internal dedicine at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Jeffreys is board-certified in internal medicine. He joined Oak Crest in August 2007.

 

Barbara Kalazny, M.D.

Dr. Kalazny has almost 30 years of medical experience, serving patients in both Maryland and Virginia for over 15 years. She completed her residency in family medicine at Reading Hospital in West Reading, Pennsylvania and is board-certified. Dr. Kalazny joined the Oak Crest medical team in March 2018.

 

Florence Marcus, D.P.M.

Dr. Marcus received her bachelor of science in biology from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, and her master of administrative science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed her podiatric surgical residency program at Kennedy University Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Marcus joined Oak Crest in January 2017.

 

Victoria Vanik, M.D.

Dr. Vanik received her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. She joined Oak Crest in April 2011.

 

Felicia Nicholsonbrown, M.D.

Dr. Nicholsonbrown received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center and her residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland Department of Family Medicine. She is board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Nicholsonbrown joined Oak Crest in May 2017.

 

Lisa Burke, A.P.R.N.-M.H.

Ms. Burke received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. She earned her master's degree in psychiatric/mental health Nursing from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. She is certified in adult psychiatric and mental health nursing. Ms. Burke joined Oak Crest in March 1999.

 

Erika Harris, L.C.S.W.-C.

Ms. Harris holds bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and family studies from University of Maryland College Park and a master of social work degree, with a clinical health specialization, from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore. She is a certified licensed clinical social worker. Ms. Harris joined Oak Crest in June 2008.
