What “Repairing the World” Means to One Riderwood Couple

In 2007, they joined the American Jewish World Service Volunteer Corps. Riderwood Awards 65 Collegiate Scholarships to Employees

Silver Spring, MD —Riderwood honored sixty-five (65) employees who received collegiate scholarships at an awards reception on April 21. This year, the Riderwood Scholarship Program provided three high school students with $8,000 to be used over a period of four years ($1,000 per semester) and sixty-two recipients with $1,000 each semester for one year. The program, funded mainly by resident contributions, raised nearly $193,000 in its spring campaign, according to Fiona Divecha, Philanthropy Manager for the Erickson Living retirement community. On Friday, April 17, employees of Riderwood went a step further with a tip of the cap to its resident volunteers.
