Riderwood Honors Its 2014 Scholarship Fund Recipients

SILVER SPRING, MD---They are future pharmacists, environmental engineers, art therapists and teachers.  They balance school and work with impressive results. Seventy-six employees of Riderwood were honored for their academic excellence and workplace achievement at the Erickson Living retirement community's 2014 Scholarship Awards Program on April 9th. Ten high school seniors received four-year collegiate scholarships, and sixty-six adult learners received one-year awards based on contributions by residents to the Riderwood Scholarship Fund.  During the ceremony, Fiona Divecha, Philanthropy Manager at Riderwood, announced that over $195,000 was raised for the program during a one-month campaign.  Judy Kneen is a resident of Riderwood...
