If you’ve experienced a recent hospitalization, illness, or a change in your condition, home health may be right for you. This program is designed for Riderwood residents in need of skilled nursing services or physical, speech, or occupational therapy in their own home, on a temporary basis. Depending on circumstances, Medicare can cover a portion of the costs of certified home health services when prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Home Support Services

Riderwood private duty services are available on a fee-for-service basis. We offer a variety of individualized plans, flexible scheduling and personalized care to meet your needs. Choose from a menu of options including:

  • Home support aides who will assist you with bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and meal preparation. You can receive assistance for as little as 15 minutes up to 24 hours.
  • In-home nursing care by registered nurses who assist with medication management, wound care, administering eye drops, and other services.
  • Homemakers who provide companionship and general household help with laundry, ironing, meal planning/shopping, pet care, and more.
  • Wheelchair escorts who will take you via wheelchair to on-campus doctor appointments, salon/barber visits, dining, therapy, banking, and events.
