Todd DeLaney has been named the new executive director of Seabrook, a continuing care retirement community in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. He assumed this leadership role on February 5, 2016, replacing Art Sparks, who recently announced his retirement after twelve years of dedicated service.
"DeLaney's career history reflects many years of experience and superior customer service in senior housing and health-care services," said vice president of regional operations, Chris Emmett. "His proven leadership has set a standard of excellence that will continue to play a key role in providing the highest quality of operations and services to those who live and work at this premier continuing care retirement community."
Since 2005, DeLaney has held a variety of leadership positions at multiple Erickson Living communities. Since 2014, he has served as the associate executive director at Seabrook. Prior to this position, he worked as the director of continuing care and associate executive director at Brooksby Village in Peabody, Massachusetts. He is licensed as a nursing home administrator in both New Jersey and Massachusetts. DeLaney, a resident of Toms River, received his M.B.A. in health care administration from Seton Hall University and a bachelor's degree from Springfield College. Another leadership addition at Seabrook is Paula Digerness, who has been named associate executive director. "Paula has diverse expertise in senior living and is a great addition to the team," said Emmett. "She is a very talented, skilled and respected leader who will be a strong contributor to our culture and mission."
Digerness, a resident of Spring Lake Heights, brings over twenty years of experience in senior living and business management to her new position. She recently served as executive director and administrator of a continuing care retirement community in Bradbury, California. She received her master's degree in long term care administration from the University of Southern California and her bachelor's degree from San Diego State University.
