Fountain View Senior Living Apartment On The Rise

The Tallgrass Creek sales team welcomes guests daily as they arrive to tour the Overland Park, Kansas community and learn more about Fountain View, the new residence building currently under construction. 

The five-story building is scheduled for completion later this year and features 132 new residences that include eight brand-new floor plans.

"There's high interest, not only in Fountain View, but the community in general," says Sales Director Blake Marshall. 

The name Fountain View honors the 200 unique fountains around Kansas City and represents the beginning of a brand-new neighborhood on Tallgrass Creek's scenic 65-acre campus. A climate-controlled walkway will connect the new building to the existing neighborhood's restaurants, on-site medical center, fitness studio, salon, and other amenities. 

Prospective residents get a firsthand look at Fountain View

With all the interest surrounding Fountain View, Tallgrass Creek's sales team is hosting frequent "lunch, learn, and look" events for prospective residents. Jill Jones is among several resident ambassadors, who welcome guests and offer firsthand information about life at the Erickson Senior Living-managed community.  

"I did a lot of research when I was deciding on a retirement community," says Jill, who moved to the community in 2017. "My daughter and I visited several places and we weren't at Tallgrass Creek for 10 minutes before we knew this was the place for me." 

Jill notes there's an "energy and attitude" at Tallgrass Creek she didn't find at other communities. 

"The staff is amazing and goes way more than the extra mile to help out," says Jill. "There is also so much to do, it's impossible to be bored." 

Jill tells guests that meeting her fellow residents was much easier than she had anticipated.  

"I quickly met wonderful friends here, who are encouraging and supportive," says Jill. "We sit at a table with a white tablecloth and eat dinner together very frequently. It's wonderful."  

Marshall notes that prospective residents notice the positive atmosphere Jill talks about. 

"People are impressed with the community and see how active the lifestyle is at Tallgrass," says Marshall. "As a result, they're reserving residences right away."  

Jill tells prospective residents how happy she is with her decision to move to Tallgrass Creek. 

"There's so much to do and everyone is just so great," says Jill. "It's a warm, loving life and I feel lucky to be here."
