Nancy Haines feels connected to Oak Crest, and she hasn t even moved there yet. "My husband was a structural steel detailer and worked on the chapel and Renaissance Gardens," says Haines, who found the blueprint for Oak Crest s chapel while preparing for her move. "So I feel like a part of me is already there."

Haines is in the process of selling her house in Reisterstown. With the help of Oak Crest Personal Moving Consultant Lisa Kane, she hopes to be enjoying her new Oak Crest apartment home this spring.

"Lisa asked me to make a wish list of everything I wanted to bring," says Haines. "Then she measured my furniture," and they discussed what would work best in her new place.Kane also provided a list of vendors that Erickson Realty & Moving Services recommends.

Haines chose her agent from that list. And that s not the only pro helping her. Her daughter, who has bought and sold 19 homes, has shared a few real estate trade secrets too. "She suggested moving some of the furniture around to make the space look larger and moving my car to the end of the driveway to show there s ample parking things I wouldn t have thought of," Haines says.

While waiting for her house to sell, Haines gets more excited with every trip to Oak Crest. "Everyone has been more than kind and helpful working with me," she says. "Every time I come to my new apartment, I just can t wait to move in."
