What a difference a day makes

Created date

Nancy Hepp discovered just how much difference a day makes. This lucky lady sold her house in one day, had her belongings packed in one day, and moved into her new place in just one day. Erickson Realty & Moving Services made all the difference in my move, says Hepp. I consider myself blessed. Everything went so smoothly.

Expert advice

After 11 years in her single- family home in Gainesville, Va., Hepp knew that it was time to move. My house was just too large for me to take care of, she says. I wanted a simpler lifestyle. Fortunately, I had some friends who had moved to Ashby Ponds and loved it. They helped pave the way for me. Also instrumental in Hepp s move was Erickson Realty & Moving Services, a program with expert assistance that paid off. Hepp s house sold in less than one day. There was no quibbling with the buyer, and I received what I wanted for my house, she says. Erickson Realty & Moving Services recommended movers who conquered the heavy lifting and had her packed in one day and moved the next. To help her feel settled sooner,Ashby Pondseven provided a service that unpacked Hepp s kitchen items on the day of her move. They were wonderful, she says. They were so nice, professional, and friendly.

Grammy Camp

Since her October 2009 move, Hepp has been meeting new friends and exploring the wealth of opportunities now available to her. There are so many things to do here, she says. You could stay busy all day every day if you were so inclined. And the best part is that everyone is so friendly. Also enjoying their new life atAshby Pondsare Hepp s two schnauzers, BJ and Brandy. They are my companions, and it s important to me that they feel comfortable, says Hepp. I walk them every day, and I always feel secure walking with them around the community. AtAshby Ponds, Hepp is closer to her two children a daughter in Hamilton and a son in Ashburn and grandchildren. They ve all come to visit me, and they think Ashby Ponds is great, says Hepp. I m looking forward to hosting my two granddaughters for a sleepover. They are so excited. They have a friend who also has a grandmother here and they call it Grammy Camp. It s only been a few months, but I feel at home at Ashby Ponds, she says. I am grateful for all the help I received moving, and I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
