Riderwood’s award-winning crab soup goes live on WUSA-TV

"][/caption] SILVER SPRING, Md. (May 25) Executive Chef Victor Cirrincione cooked Riderwood s award-winning Maryland crab soup live today during a noon segment on CBS affiliate WUSA-TV. News anchor J.C. Hayward interviewed Chef Cirrincione as he cooked the crab soup, which took first place in this year s Maryland Seafood Festival in the Maryland crab soup (vegetable) category within the Judges Choice Awards of the competition. Hayward (pictured tasting the crab soup) spoke highly of Riderwood, saying it is a place where sassy seniors live and where they enjoy the best dining in the state. WUSA-TV posted the award-winning crab soup recipe on its website. Chef Cirrincione thanked his dining services team during the WUSA-TV segment. The chefs at Riderwood are wonderful, he said. They make sure our residents always enjoy dining at its best. With nearly 3,000 residents, Riderwood has to meet a wide variety of tastes. A team of more than 600 employees, including executive chefs, operate 18 on-campus restaurants and a catering division featuring dining experiences formal to casual.
