The housing wait is over

Ashby Ponds opens new residence building to meet rising demand

Created date

March 20th, 2012

As the housing market rebounds, demand continues to increase for homes at Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Living community in Loudoun County, Va. On April 4, 2012, the community welcomed the first residents to Red Robin View, the sixth residence building addition since the community opened in September 2008. We take our commitment to everyone desiring the Ashby Ponds lifestyle very seriously, says Sales Counselor Dana Bradshaw. Red Robin View offers our most popular and in-demand apartment styles, as well as many new floor plans with new finishes and features never before seen at an Erickson Living community.

The big reveal

The two largest, all-new apartment designs include the Walton, a deluxe, large two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath apartment home complete with a family room, utility room, and bay window. Also dazzling is the Washington, a deluxe two-bedroom, two-bath home with three exposures, an enviable sunroom, and bay window. I m thrilled that with the opening of Red Robin View we are able to offer new options to our future community members, says Bradshaw. These new options are the result of carefully listening to what people were saying they wanted in a modern apartment home. Like Ashby Ponds other residence buildings, Red Robin View offers all the benefits that come with selecting the Erickson Living lifestyle. Each new apartment home is easily accessible to the Cardinal Clubhouse via glass-enclosed walkways. Inside the clubhouse, community members enjoy the conveniences of two restaurants, an on-site medical center, fitness and aquatics center, day spa, classrooms, computer lab, and art studio.

Friendly neighbors

Ashby Ponds energetic population also drives its popularity. There are a thousand reasons why I am so glad my husband, Frank, and I moved to Ashby Ponds, says Natalie Margiotta. There are so many conveniences, including wonderful meals, a medical center, bank, convenience store, salon, fitness center, and pool. But most important are the people, both the staff and the residents. It s a diverse population of intelligent, fun people who have lived interesting lives. If you have a question, someone among them has the answer. And as the first people move into Red Robin View, current community members eagerly extend a warm welcome. We are excited to meet the new residents at Red Robin View, says John Kraft, who, along with his wife, Dottie, were among the community s first members. We look forward to their participation in our more than 70 clubs and activities. I think they will bring a new sense of vitality to our already vibrant community.

Spring into action

The response to Ashby Ponds latest addition has been tremendous. Currently, more than 90% of the homes in Red Robin View have been reserved. But there is still time to claim one of the remaining homes. I d advise anyone interested in seeing one of these new homes to give me a call, says Bradshaw. There s never any pressure, just a great opportunity to discover why so many people want to call Ashby Ponds home.
