The announcement last year that construction had started on Eagle Pointe, the fifth residence building in Maris Grove s second neighborhood, triggered an immediate response from people seeking the active, zestful lifestyle offered at Erickson Living s community in Delaware County, Pa. Eagle Pointe will open this August. Featuring eight new floor plans and improvements in top-selling models, with 75 apartment homes in all, Eagle Pointe offers comfortable, maintenance-free living designed for every taste and lifestyle. Sales Counselor Kimberly Janson has met with hundreds of people from Delaware County, Pa.; Wilmington, Del.; and as far away as Georgia and Arizona eager to reserve their home. Janson recently took time to answer questions about Eagle Pointe. Q. What should folks know about the new residence building at Maris Grove? A: That its floor plans reflect what people told us they wanted. The homes are open and airy with one room flowing into the next. In the largest of the new apartment styles, the luxurious two-bedroom Walton home, the living areas are designed as a single large great room that also features a generous-sized family room. Eagle Pointe s new one-bedroom homes follow the same open concept there s no wall separating the kitchen from the living area. Some of the one-bedroom styles also boast a family room, sunroom, or den. Whether residents want to entertain, host overnight guests, or maintain a home office, they ll find a floor plan that accommodates their wishes at a reasonable price.

Q.What improvements did you make to the top-selling styles from Maris Grove s existing portfolio of designs?

A: One of our most popular styles, the one-bedroom Brighton, has an open feel because we removed its kitchen/living room wall. We ve also kept some popular two-bedroom styles largely unchanged for folks who prefer traditional spaces and defined rooms. In the Fairmont we only removed half of the kitchen/living room wall. And in the Harrison, an expansive two-bedroom corner floor plan, we simply added another closet.

Q. What ' about ' amenities?

A:Homes in Eagle Pointe include today s most popular finishes as standard amenities. People love granite countertops, so they re standard in every Eagle Pointe apartment home regardless of size. Wood cabinetry, DuraCeramic flooring in kitchen and baths, and expanded closet space are standard too. So are choices in appliance styles and finishes, including stainless steel. And folks really like this: In Eagle Pointe and in the homes we refurbish in existing residence buildings on campus, we re painting the walls a warm, neutral cream color instead of white.

Q. How can people learn more about Eagle Pointe?

A: It s easy. Just make an appointment to come meet with me. We ll take a high-definition virtual tour of the apartment homes, and I can also tell you about the great homes available in our nine existing residence buildings. The first step is to join our priority list. We re 95% occupied, but your apartment home could become available at any time. Joining the list gives you the right of first refusal on an available home based on the date you joined the list.
