When Anne Greenwell first visited s Trace, an Erickson Living community in West Houston, she was taken with the attractiveness of the community and the camaraderie between residents. I wasn t ready to move at the time, but I liked Eagle s Trace so much that I tucked it away in the back of my mind, says Anne. Thoughts of Eagle s Trace resurfaced three years later, and Anne knew it was time to make her move. I was thankful for the resources available through Realty and Moving Services, she says. The moving process was so overwhelming that I think I would have chickened out if I didn t have help.

Network of support

Anne s three children were more than willing to assist with the move, but full-time jobs and geographical distance hampered their ability to help. Blaga [Bayer, personal moving consultant at Eagle s Trace] was a gem, says Anne. She coordinated the real estate agent and the moving company. She also put me in touch with a company that specializes in helping seniors downsize. Anne was pleased to bring with her a number of pieces with the most sentimental value. I have a secretary that belonged to my mother and a special tea cart that I brought to my new apartment, she says. Anne s four-bedroom house sold five weeks after it hit the market. By that time, Anne was already settled in her one-bedroom, home at Eagle s Trace. I was so eager to move that I didn t wait for my house to sell, she says. Fortunately, I had a great team of professionals helping me, and my house sold two weeks after I moved to Eagle s Trace. Making the transition was well worth it, says Anne, who has already invited several friends to visit her in her new community. I have a number of friends who would be living here right now if they didn t have to go through the moving process, says Anne. I keep telling them that Erickson Realty and Moving Services makes it possible.
