More than 100 Michigan retirees recently decided to see for themselves what Fox Run has to offer. The Erickson Living community in Novi, Mich., opened its doors on March 14 for a lively and informative Home Expo. The community s staff created a fun-filled and hands-on experience so attendees could get a close-up look at life at Fox Run. We celebrated St. Patrick s Day at the same time and made a scavenger hunt, Sales Director Fred Moschetta says. Our 120 guests went to several different apartment homes to find information from various vendors on how to make their moves to Fox Run easier and fun.

Reserved on the spot

Two of those guests were so impressed with what they saw that they decided to reserve their very own Fox Run apartment homes on the spot. Moschetta says one future resident chose a Flagstaff apartment home, which features two bedrooms and one bathroom. The other Fox Run resident-to-be selected a Brighton, a popular one-bedroom, one-bath style. It was a great event where our guests got to meet many of our professional moving and real estate partners who help us sell houses so quickly, Moschetta says. In addition to touring Fox Run apartment homes, the group of retirees in attendance also got some valuable information on downsizing and moving. A number of vendors, including real estate agents, downsizing companies, professional packers and movers, and representatives from resale shops were all on hand to answers questions about the process. We even had a hands-on display from Paulson s Electronics that showed how future residents can make their new homes high tech with everything from automatic lights and sensor lights to surround-sound music in every room, Moschetta says.
