Kimberly Janson, Maris Grove s sales counselor, invites everyone who s never visited (or hasn t visited in a while) Maris Grove to join her at a one-to-one visit for coffee, conversation, and a campus tour. The Erickson Living community in Delaware County, Pa., is home to 2 clubhouses, 10 residence buildings, and 1,400 neighbors. More than 98% sold out, Maris Grove seems to be on everyone s wish list of where to live next. Having Coffee with Kimberly will give visitors an up-close glimpse into what makes Maris Grove so popular. Here are her comments about her one-to-one coffee chats.

Q What can people expect when they meet with you?

A: We ll sit down over coffee in my office and they ll have my undivided attention for an entire hour. There s absolutely no pressure. This is the perfect opportunity for people to gather information related to their particular interests and needs. I ll answer all their questions and describe how they can best benefit from everything our carefree lifestyle offers.

Q What s included in the personal tour?

A: The tour is tailored to their interests, so we ll visit whatever they want to see, such as our three campus restaurants, resident garden spaces, chapel, and on-site, full-service medical center staffed with our own physicians whose practice is dedicated solely to the people who live at Maris Grove.

Q Will the tour include apartment homes?

A: Absolutely! I ll show a variety of models and available homes. If they ve taken virtual apartment tours on our website and want to see a particular style, I ll try to arrange that as well.

Q Will you discuss finances?

A: Of course. We re completely transparent about the costs of our homes, our monthly service packages, and our financial setup. Moving to Maris Grove is a smart financial decision because it secures a person s future while establishing a family legacy. And should they ever need extended care, their children will be freed from that burden because we have the full continuum of care right here on campus.

Q Can people tour Maris Grove s on-site short-term rehabilitation and continuing care neighborhood?

A: Yes. If they request that when they schedule their coffee appointment with me, we ll arrange a tour. We also have an excellent, fee-based home support services program. Should residents ever need a private-duty aide, assistance with dressing, or help with medication management, Maris Grove-employed aides and nurses can provide that. More than 95% of Erickson Living residents who use home support services continue to live independently. That differentiates us from many other communities.

Q How can people prepare for their campus visit?

A: They can list their interests, concerns, and questions, of course. They can also browse our webpage through the Maris Grove link at ericksonliving.com and request a copy of our new, 45-page comprehensive guide.
