“Living faith: Celebrating our labor”

September 2013 issue

Don’t dismiss the ‘non-affiliated’

This article is particularly offensive to those of us with religions that do not think that a god created the heavens and the earth in six days, etc. Many of us don’t believe in Eve and Adam, either. [What’s needed is] a more balanced view of the greater religious community outside of Christianity…even including atheists and their brethren.

“The man on the moon looks to Mars”

August 2013 issue

‘Buzz off, Buzz’

Long ago, my late father taught me that the moon, Mars, and the other planets were sacred and not to be disturbed by humans. Our creator built planet Earth for humans to live here. We have already done too much damage to Mother Earth. Please, let us continue to concentrate on making Earth a better place to live.
