With an on-schedule November opening, Creek’s continuing care neighborhood continues to welcome new residents to its beautifully designed assisted living apartments.

This first phase of the overall neighborhood consists of 28 assisted living apartments along with a sunny commons area and spacious dining room.

Phase two of the neighborhood will include 28 memory care apartments and 44 skilled nursing residences. Phase two will open this spring. Both neighborhoods are housed securely on one level in buildings designed specifically to serve the needs of those who live there.

Sneak peek for Tallgrass Creek residents

In recent months, Tallgrass Creek offered sneak peek tours to residents and their families so they could be first to view the roomy assisted living apartments, spacious commons area, and dining room in the new continuing care neighborhood.

Though currently at 100% occupancy, Tallgrass Creek has a considerable priority list, whose members were offered their own special tour of the new continuing care neighborhood. Priority list membership provides access to exclusive members-only events and holds members’ place in line for the apartment home of their choice once available.

A former priority list member, Margaret Lyddon moved last year to one of Tallgrass Creek’s roomy, two-bedroom, Keswick-style independent-living apartment homes. She joined the tour and says the continuing care neighborhood exceeded her high expectations.

“I expected the new area to be well-done, but it was so impressive and beautifully furnished,” says Margaret. “Seeing the area gave me a sense of comfort. They continue to do everything so well here.”
