With McHenry’s Crossing just a few months from opening, Crest is abuzz with the excitement of a new neighborhood, new neighbors, and new amenities. The residence building will open in November with 22 brand-new floor plan styles.

One of the most highly anticipated designs is the Brecken, a spacious, one-bedroom, one-bath open floor plan with a balcony overlooking the Highline Canal.

“Denver has such an amazing climate that the balcony is a premier feature. And it’s something our residents and prospective residents have been asking for,” says Sales Director Jason Atwell. What’s more, the sliding glass doors that lead to the balcony fill the home with light and provide a stunning view of the historical Highline Canal.

The home also features an open kitchen and living area that provide a “great room” feel that’s perfect for entertaining or relaxing with a good book while a cool breeze comes in from the balcony.

The generously sized bedroom also has a large picture window overlooking the canal. “It’s a great spot to place a comfy reading chair,” says Personal Moving Consultant Beth Brandenburg. She helps priority list members plan furniture placement, among other complimentary moving services.

Aside from the view and open floor plan, the Brecken doesn’t lack storage space. A large walk-in closet graces the master bedroom, along with a linen closet just outside the master bathroom. And a utility room with side-by-side washer and dryer, as well as a storage closet, sits just off the kitchen.

“This is one of our most popular one-bedroom designs in McHenry’s Crossing,” says Atwell. “We don’t have many, and several have already sold. I expect them to go quickly.”

Look what’s new at Wind Crest

If you’ve visited Wind Crest lately, driven by the Highlands Ranch campus along C-470, or walked the Highline Canal Trail, you may have noticed some major construction. The Erickson Living community is constantly working to meet the needs of its residents and future residents. Here’s what’s happening lately:

McHenry’s Crossing. The new residence building will open with 102 brand-new apartment homes in 22 floor plan styles this November. As of mid-June, McHenry’s Crossing was 90% sold out, meaning just under 15 homes remained.

“Wind Crest is the fastest-growing Erickson Living community, so our new apartments are selling quickly,” says Sales Director Jason Atwell. The only way to reserve a home at McHenry’s Crossing is to join the priority list.

The building will not only feature apartment homes. It will also house a new restaurant and coffee shop, fitness center, and other amenities, making it a neighborhood all its own as well as an extension of the main community.

Multiuse patio. Outside the Marketplace in the Town Center Clubhouse, where residents can purchase everything from grocery items to greeting cards, they’re now able to enjoy the stunning view of the foothills on a new hardscaped patio.

The patio, completed in July, features a fire pit, comfortable seating and tables, and plenty of space for club meetings or catered events.

“We wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous views. This space was the perfect opportunity,” says Sales Manager Blake Marshall.
