Mealtimes have long been one of the highlights of residents’ days at Fox Run, and the community’s dining services recently got even better. Over the summer, the Hunt Club Café underwent a renovation, and the new and improved restaurant reopened on July 7.

Residents can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Hunt Club Café. Dining Service Manager Thomas Hollinshead says the café renovation includes five separate stations: deli/grill, pizza/pasta, chef creations, salads/sweets, and the beverage station/grab-and-go.

“This allows guests to go to whichever venue they desire,” Hollinshead says.

The Hunt Club Café’s popular breakfast buffet offers hot morning meals of scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, potato pancakes, and muffins. For lunch and dinner, the barbecue chicken pizza, which is prepared fresh in six minutes, is a popular choice. Both the triple decker club sandwich and the turkey Reuben are frequently ordered at the sandwich station. Residents with a sweet tooth love the fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies.

Hollinshead says residents’ reactions have been very positive. In addition to improved functionality, he says the Hunt Club also was redecorated in Michigan lodge style.

“Residents love the décor, menu, and opportunity to go to whichever station they want and customize their lunch and dinner,” Hollinshead says.
