The people who live at Linden Ponds are frequently treated to live musical performances in the community’s on-site theater. One of the most memorable shows in recent months was from Boston musical troupe Sweet Harmony.

The group performed its “Stage Door Canteen” show, which is a tribute to the USO shows that took place during World War II. Sweet Harmony’s lively rendition of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” had toes tapping and memories whirling for those who attended the show.

About 150 Linden Ponds residents came out for the fun-filled performance, and everyone had a great time reminiscing about their lives during the war.

Resident Armand Ruby, a regular volunteer in Linden Ponds’ theater, created the backdrops for the troupe’s performance.
