In recent years, Fox Run has become so popular with local retirees that the community has been completely sold out. In response to high demand, management at the Erickson Living community in Novi, Mich., decided to construct a new residence building. This will be the community’s first new residence building in six years, and Fox Run Sales Manager Kristen Yaquinto says it is slated to open this June.

“Framing with drywall is under way, and cabinets are starting to be installed,” Yaquinto says. “All of the floor plans are coming together and on schedule.”

The new building will be named Edgewater, in honor of Detroit’s classic amusement park. For many Michiganders, Edgewater evokes the warmth and carefree spirit of Detroit’s golden era—which is exactly the kind of lifestyle people who move to Fox Run can expect.

Fresh and innovative

The new building connects to the existing Belmont Clubhouse, giving residents easy access to all of the amenities, activities, and full-service restaurants at Fox Run.

Edgewater will feature 94 well-appointed apartment homes. All of the apartment home styles are brand new to Fox Run, with fresh and innovative floor plans designed to accommodate retirees’ unique needs and preferences.

“Edgewater introduces 16 never-before-seen floor plans with expanded kitchens, airy great rooms, and cheerful sunrooms,” Yaquinto says. “There is a range of options, from one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath apartments up to two-bedroom deluxe apartment homes with two and a half baths. We have a variety of new floor plans with features like open spaces with large chef kitchens, dens, balconies, and beautiful bay windows.”

95% reserved

Not surprisingly, Fox Run’s latest offering of apartment homes are going fast. Yaquinto says almost 95% of the homes in Edgewater have already been reserved.

“We still have a few apartments left for those who are looking to move in this summer,” she says.

For those interested in reserving an apartment home in Fox Run’s newest building, Yaquinto says it’s best to act fast. For more information, contact Fox Run’s marketing office at 1-800-578-1829 and request an appointment with Sales Counselor Carolyn Ives.
