Make way for the Baby Boomers.

According to a recent study published by the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University, the population of seniors 60 and above is projected to grow to 12 million by the year 2050, up from 3.8 million in 2010.

The 60-plus population in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metroplex will see a 304% increase by the year 2050, according to the study.
