Windsor Run Sales Counselor Sara Foley

The first thing you’ll notice when you meet Windsor Run Sales Counselor Sara Foley is her warm, friendly smile, but what you’ll appreciate the most is her wealth of knowledge and commitment to finding you the best place to spend your retirement years.

“Let’s be honest, making the decision to move to a continuing care retirement community like Windsor Run is a big decision,” she says. “My job is to provide all the facts, without any pressure, so you can be confident that the community you choose provides the best lifestyle for you.”

Armed with knowledge

Prior to joining the Windsor Run team, Sara spent more than 30 years in sales and marketing, most recently at a continuing care retirement community in Charlotte.

“It was at my last position that I developed a true passion for working with seniors,” she says. “I am thrilled and excited to be a part of a great team and such a respected organization, while playing a key role in the launch of Windsor Run.”

Foley knows Charlotte and the surrounding area intimately. She and her husband Jeff relocated to Harrisburg, N.C., from the Chicago area in 1994. Here they raised their two daughters Lainey and Lizzy. Lainey is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., and Lizzy is currently a sophomore at the university.

“Knowing the retirement landscape of Charlotte, I can say without hesitation that Windsor Run is located in one of the most desirable locations in the area and will offer the most complete array of services and amenities in the region,” Foley says.

Making the future a priority

For anyone interested in moving to Windsor Run, Foley suggests scheduling a visit to the new, state-of-the-art Sales Center located right on the Matthews, N.C., campus. During this visit, she will review options regarding apartment home floor plans and share details on on-site amenities and health care.

“Like most things in life, a visit to Windsor Run is a learning experience,” she says. “There is never any pressure to make a decision. My job is to make visitors feel welcome, answer their questions, and provide information to help them make the right decision for their future, whether it’s at Windsor Run or somewhere else.”

For those interested in a future at Windsor Run, Foley suggests joining the priority list. Acting as a waiting list, the priority list allows members to reserve their space in line for the apartment home of their choice without having any time constraints placed on their decision-making process.

“It is never too early to join,” she says. “Because we have a limited inventory of floor plans, priority list membership provides a better chance of securing the apartment home of your choice.”

Joining the priority list requires a $1,000 refundable deposit and a $150-per-person nonrefundable application fee.  Once homes become available, members will be able to choose their home in order of their joining date. Members will also receive invitations to special events exclusively for those on the priority list.

“The Charlotte area is a wonderful place to live and raise a family, with a very reasonable cost of living and a fantastic climate,” says Foley. “As the song goes, ‘In my mind I’m going to Carolina.’ I look forward to Windsor Run bringing the Erickson lifestyle to those who have always wanted a great retirement and have Carolina on their mind.”
