On Dec. 12, which would have been Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday, people across the United States celebrated with a musical salute to “Ol’ Blue Eyes.” In Hingham, Mass., the Linden Ponds Singers, led by conductor and resident Nalora Steele, put on a concert called “A Sinatra Christmas.”

The group sang many of Sinatra’s hits along with some holiday classics. Hundreds of people attended the festive event at the Erickson Living community. Performers wore Sinatra-style fedoras, and guests enjoyed eggnog and cookies.

“We all grew up listening to Frank Sinatra’s music,” Nalora says. “We celebrated and honored his birthday by singing many of his classics, and what a turnout we had. Hundreds of Linden Ponds residents attended our concert and sang along with us. It was a wonderful event.”
