The Mesquite Floor Plan

Considering a move to Eagle’s Trace?

There are now more choices than ever when it comes to selecting a floor plan. The community’s newest residence building, Amarillo Terrace, is under construction and offers 17 never-before-seen floor plans.

“Our newest floor plans are inspired by customer feedback,” says Pam Burgeson, sales director at the West Houston Erickson Living community. “The variety of floor plan options allows prospective residents to choose the layout that suits their needs and lifestyle.”

A new trends report, released by J+J Flooring Group, cites a shift in senior living design toward functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. Architect Jeffrey Bogart, quoted in the report, says, “It’s more about having an appropriate range of products, range of styles, and range of scales so that you can address all of these different components.”

“It’s all about choice,” Burgeson concurs. “We have people touring the community who have different needs. One wants a chef’s kitchen and dining room for entertaining. Another wants enough space to accommodate their favorite furniture pieces. The selection of floor plans in Amarillo Terrace ensures there is something for everyone.”

When completed, Amarillo Terrace will offer 108 beautiful new apartments in a variety of one- and two-bedroom options. Each floor plan has a distinctive Texas-themed name.

The Bolivar

At 967 square feet, the one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath Bolivar floor plan is an efficient design for those who like to entertain.

A half bath and generous coat closet flank the entryway, which leads into the open living room, dining room, and kitchen combination. The roomy, modern kitchen allows the chef to interact with guests while still keeping an eye on food preparation.

“We heard consistent feedback from current residents about the need for additional storage,” says Burgeson. “Large closets and ample storage space was a top priority in the design of our newest floor plans.”

The Derrick

Airy and bright, the one-bedroom, one-and-a-half Derrick apartment home promises to bring the outdoors in.

“Many of the apartments in Amarillo Terrace will overlook the lake or our beautiful grounds, so we wanted to be sure and maximize the views and natural light in these apartments,” says Burgeson.

For those who want to soak up the outdoors even more, the Derrick offers a balcony off the open concept living and dining area.

“It will be the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and read the newspaper,” says Burgeson.

The Lone Star

The two-bedroom, two-bath Lone Star floor plan features bedrooms on opposite sides of the apartment.

“You essentially have two master bedrooms,” says Burgeson. “This is a great floor plan for accommodating overnight guests or for couples who each like their own room.”

Each of the Lone Star’s two bedrooms features a well-appointed en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and bright natural light.

The Mesquite

This two-bedroom, two-bath apartment offers a classic take on entertaining. An elegant dining room leads directly to the modern kitchen, providing plenty of room for family and friends.
