Stop by the Oak Crest Home Expo on September 22 to get answers to all of your retirement questions.

Curious if houses in your area are selling? Want to find out how you can save hundreds of dollars on your moving expenses? Would you like to see Oak Crest’s most popular apartment homes in person, instead of just on paper?

Stop by the Oak Crest Home Expo on September 22 starting at 10 a.m. to find out everything you need to know to live the retirement you deserve, and it’s all under one roof at the Parkville, Md., Erickson Living community.

One-stop shopping

“The home expo is a great way to get all your information about moving, selling your house, and the Oak Crest community in one place,” says Oak Crest Director of Sales Jim Antonakos. “Local real estate professionals, movers, stagers, and antique dealers are just a few of the experts who will be available to answer your questions. It’s also a great place to meet and mingle with people already enjoying Oak Crest’s lifestyle, as well as those looking to move.”

Kathleen and Reed Hutner attended multiple home expos at Oak Crest before moving to the community in 2013.

“There are many reasons to come to an expo,” says Reed. “They present so many different things that are valuable and worthwhile. It allowed us to become familiar with the community and tour different apartments so that we could get an idea of what we liked. They had lots of tables with different vendors like moving companies and real estate agents. We also attended presentations on topics like downsizing.”

Antonakos says that for those looking to move to Oak Crest this year, the home expo is a must-attend event.

“We’ve assembled the best of the best in the home and real estate industry to make it easy for people to navigate the moving process,” says Antonakos. “Instead of researching and screening real estate agents and movers one at a time over the phone, we’ve done the legwork for you. Every vendor we’ve invited to the home expo has earned our trust and has a proven track record in successfully helping dozens of people sell their homes and move to Oak Crest,” he says.

Here’s what you can expect:

Attend free seminars. You’ll learn about decluttering, downsizing, and staging your house for a successful sale when you meet the panel of experts who can answer your questions.

Pick the perfect real estate agent. Meet reliable real estate professionals who have proven success in your area. You can ask questions and get advice right at the expo.

Plan a stress-free move. Packing and moving companies who have received rave reviews from folks who already live at Oak Crest will be on hand. Find out more about what services they offer.

Customize your new apartment home. You’ll see crown molding, kitchen upgrades, and more. Oak Crest staff will demonstrate how custom features can transform your new apartment home into the ideal living space and how they can help.

Tour available apartment homes. If you find an apartment home with the layout and location you’ve been hoping for, Oak Crest sales associates are available to help you take the next step right away. Don’t forget to stop by and visit with a sales associate.

Learn about your new home. Members of the Oak Crest team will be happy to answer your questions about the many social, financial, and health benefits of living there. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet people who already enjoy Oak Crest’s dynamic lifestyle.

Get moving assistance and special incentives. Oak Crest Personal Moving Consultant Ashley Ruth will present information about Erickson Realty and Moving Services, a program for people moving to an Erickson Living community that helps organize all the details of your move. Also ask about special incentives available on apartment homes.

Enjoy delicious cuisine. You’ll need to refuel once you visit all the vendor booths, so be sure to treat yourself to tasty food and refreshments, compliments of Oak Crest.
