Maris Grove, Erickson Living’s retirement community in Delaware County, Pa., has been changing people’s lives for the better since it opened in 2006.

A 60-minute chat with Sales Counselor Kimberly Janson could do the same for you.

You’ll have ample time to receive detailed answers to all your questions about Maris Grove, from its designation as a not-for-profit continuing care community to its financial structure and its promise of a home for life.

A change for the better

Because an appointment will include a campus tour, you’ll see firsthand that Maris Grove’s 1,400 residents pursue active and engaged lives at a community where every day brings opportunities to socialize. It’s easy to make friends at Maris Grove.

Many community members moved from too-big houses in neighborhoods where no one was home during the day, homeowner chores never ended, and winter weather could slow them down.

Now they gather with Maris Grove friends for discussions, club meetings, art lessons, and campus entertainment. Instead of eating dinner with a TV anchorperson as company, they dine with neighbors over gourmet meals in Maris Grove’s four restaurants.

They fill prescriptions at the convenient campus pharmacy/market and keep medical appointments with Maris Grove physicians at the on-site medical center.

They even bank on campus, borrow books from the campus library, and attend religious services in the interfaith chapel.

Working person’s dream

Maris Grove’s maintenance-free lifestyle caters to community members who are employed.

Its 24/7 maintenance team is one phone call away should something in a resident’s apartment home need repair or replacement.

Its grounds crew rakes the leaves, clears the snow, and plants and grooms Maris Grove’s beautiful 87-acre grounds.

Its restaurants and flexible dining plans let residents enjoy meals they don’t have to plan, prepare, serve, or clean up after. When they work late, a neighbor will happily pick up their meal-to-go from the campus’s Cardinal Express.

And because Maris Grove’s fitness and aquatics center is on site, they can walk to evening workouts.

A stress-free move

When you tour Maris Grove with Janson, she can show you some of the well-appointed apartment homes. The community boasts more than 40 different floor plans, a number that will increase when Maris Grove opens the first two residence buildings in its new neighborhood next year (which is already 80% sold out).

Styles range from studios to two-bedroom apartment homes with dens or sunrooms, and Janson works tirelessly to find the perfect home for each new community member.

When people reserve their home, Maris Grove Personal Moving Consultant Suzanne McAllister provides assistance, advice, and referrals to recommended moving-related professionals. She also guides people in what to bring to Maris Grove and what to leave behind.

Maris Grove thinks of everything.
