Marlene Victorine is Windsor Run’s sales counselor. “I look forward to helping as many people as possible enjoy a new beginning at Windsor Run,” she says.

Armed with a wealth of experience in senior living, Windsor Run’s new sales counselor Marlene Victorine is eager to help those interested in learning more about Erickson Living’s first North Carolina community.

“Making the decision to move to a continuing care community like Windsor Run is a big decision,” she says. “My job is to provide all the facts, without any pressure, so you can be confident that the community you chose provides the best lifestyle for you, as well as your family and loved ones.”

Committed professional

Most recently, Victorine served as the sales counselor at Waltonwood Providence, a senior living community in South Charlotte. Before moving to the Charlotte area, she worked as the leasing consultant for Brightview Senior Living in Danvers, Mass. At both properties Victorine served as a critical part of the management that brought the communities to life from preconstruction to opening and beyond.

“I absolutely love working on a project from the preopening stage to completion,” she says. “It is so fulfilling to assist people in making life-changing decisions and seeing the smiles on their faces when they finally move into their new homes and make new friends. It is wonderful to be a part of their new beginnings, and I’m thrilled to be able to do the same for the future residents at Windsor Run.”

Family centered

Before discovering her passion for helping seniors, Victorine grew up in South Windsor, Conn., and studied journalism at Central Connecticut State University. Upon marrying her husband Robert, she moved to Gloucester, Mass., where the couple began raising their three children, 29-year-old stepdaughter Erin, 17-year-old Alex, and 14-year-old Juliana. Three years ago, Victorine and her family, including their two dogs Oliver and Zoey, found their own new beginning when they moved to the Charlotte area.

“Charlotte is a wonderful place to live and raise a family, with a very reasonable cost of living and a fantastic climate,” she says.

In her free time, Victorine enjoys spending time with family.

“I love everything outdoors, whether it’s bike riding, golfing with my son (I drive the cart while he golfs), or watching my daughter compete in Hunter Jump horse shows with her large pony Rhett. I’m also interested in health and love everything green and enjoy juicing all kinds of vegetables.”

Looking forward

It’s Victorine’s commitment to family and a healthy lifestyle that motivates her in her new position at Windsor Run.

“I look forward to helping as many people as possible enjoy a new beginning at Windsor Run,” she says. “I also believe wholeheartedly in the Erickson Living model from a social and health care aspect as well as from a financial perspective. I could definitely see myself living at Windsor Run when I retire.”

For anyone interested in learning more about Windsor Run, Victorine suggests scheduling a visit to the sales center. During this visit she will review options regarding apartment home floor plans and share details on on-site amenities and health care.

“Like most things in life, a visit to Windsor Run is a learning experience,” she says. “There is never any pressure to make a decision. My job is to make visitors feel welcome, answer their questions, and provide information to help them make the right decision for their future.”
