‘It was all so easy!’
When Kyra and Jerry Warsnak recently settled into their new home at Tallgrass Creek, they breathed a sigh of relief.
“We were worried about the move, but the Tallgrass staff was invaluable with their assistance and encouragement,” says Kyra. “We love the community and wish we’d moved here two years ago.”
Over the years, the Warsnaks had visited friends at Tallgrass Creek so were familiar with the community when they decided to move.
“We were always struck by the friendly, welcoming atmosphere here,” says Kyra. “Even so, we looked around, but Tallgrass Creek was simply the best choice for us.’”
After selecting a sunny, Keswick-design, two-bedroom residence, the Warsnaks met with Tallgrass Creek Personal Moving Consultant Nancy Worthington, who helped plan their move.
“Honestly, Nancy was my rock,” says Kyra. “She was alongside us throughout the entire moving process. Her advice and recommendations were first rate.”
The couple’s move escalated quickly once the couple listed their home with Tallgrass Creek-recommended real estate agent Michael Hagen.
“We had an open house on a Sunday and received an offer Monday,” says Jerry. “But we needed to be out of the house in two weeks.”
At Nancy’s suggestion, the Warsnaks worked with Linda Scardino of Gentle Changes, a Tallgrass Creek-approved business specializing in senior moves.
“Linda and her team came in and determined what would work best in our new home,” says Kyra. “They helped us get rid of what we no longer needed.”
The Warsnaks chose C & C Relocation, a moving company that has worked with dozens of people moving to Tallgrass Creek. The company executed an efficient, careful move “with no damage or even scratches,” says Kyra.
On moving day, Scardino’s team worked with C & C placing everything exactly where it should be.
“They even took pictures of the cupboards and drawers in our old home so they could organize our new home,” says Jerry. “We walked in and everything was perfect.”
These days, the Warsnaks are busy meeting new friends at Tallgrass Creek and grateful they took Worthington’s advice and recommendations.
“I can’t imagine moving any other way,” says Kyra. “It was all so easy.”
