With the opening of Windsor Run now less than a year away, Sales Counselor Marlene Victorine is busy meeting with prospective residents and keeping everyone up to date on construction, apartment home availability, and moving options.

Each of these meetings allows visitors the opportunity to address unique questions and concerns.

“But there are some questions that come up on a daily basis,” says Victorine. “And it’s my belief that if one person is asking a question, chances are others are wondering the same thing.”

Following are the top three questions Victorine has received this spring.

Q: What do I need to do to ensure a future home at Windsor Run?

Victorine: This is the question I receive more than any other. Luckily, the answer is simple. Join the priority list! All it takes to join is a fully refundable $1,000 deposit and a $150-per-person nonrefundable application fee.  The deposit reserves your priority date. Whether you’d like to move into one of Windsor Run’s first apartment homes or prefer to plan for a future move, once your preferred apartment home becomes available, you will be given right of first choice based on your joining date.

It’s important to note that there is no penalty should your preferred apartment home become available before you are ready to move. It is simply offered to the next member on the list and your priority list status remains the same.

Priority list members also enjoy access to Windsor Run Personal Moving Consultant June Parish, who works to help people plan for their new apartment home; prepare their house for sale; find the right real estate agent; and make a seamless, stress-free move.

Recently, Parish met with priority list members at our seminar “The Value of Staging Your Home” and at a local estate sales auctioneer event.

Q: Is it true that Windsor Run now offers virtual tours of apartment homes and the Woodland Commons Clubhouse?

Victorine: It’s true and we are very excited to provide potential future residents with this unique opportunity to get a glimpse of  what Windsor Run will look like once construction is complete. The tour is available on and provides an interactive, 360-degree view of the highly anticipated clubhouse.

Guests embarking on the virtual tour will enjoy views of the on-site state-of-the-art fitness center, all-season junior Olympic-size pool, three dining venues, a movie theater, marketplace, salon and spa, art studio, and classrooms.

Virtual tours are also available for many of Windsor Run’s most popular floor plans. These tours are a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to join in the decision-making process.

Many people follow up their virtual tours with a face-to-face meeting in our sales center. They almost always point to something specific they saw online that piqued their interest.

Q: Are there any events coming up for people interested in learning more about the Windsor Run lifestyle?

Victorine:  Definitely! This spring, Windsor Run is hosting a series of lunchtime events for anyone interested in learning more about our community.

We also have a number of events planned specifically for priority list members. This is a great way to meet the people who may one day be your neighbors. Recently, priority list members received invitations to a special wine and cheese social, and in June they will enjoy the opportunity to attend an event with our preferred real estate agents and movers.

Later this year we’re planning an event for the adult children of potential future residents. This is another great way for family members to get involved in the decision-making process.
