John Bowser is the resident director at Eagle’s Trace.

John Bowser moved to Eagle’s Trace in November 2005 from Stafford, Tex., where he served as superintendent of the Stafford Municipal School District. Earlier in his career, John also served as superintendent of two school districts in Wisconsin as well as superintendent of Alief Independent School District in Southwest Houston.

Somewhere over the course of his career in education, John picked up a favorite phrase: “key communicator.”

It’s a term that aptly describes John’s role as resident director at Eagle’s Trace. Since his appointment to the community’s Board of Directors in 2010, John has provided a vital link between the board and residents of the West Houston Erickson Living community.

“I share the ongoing business of the board with our residents, and I provide a resident’s perspective to other board members,” says John. “My goal is to keep communication flowing in both directions.”
