When Tallgrass Creek Finance Director Lynn Schaffer goes to work each day, she typically meets up with three members of her family. Actually, make that three generations of her family.

Schaffer’s mother Karen Kelly and her grandmother Ginny Caldwell both live at the Overland Park, Kans., Erickson Living community. Her daughter Lauren Schaffer, a student worker in the dining services department, represents the youngest generation. It is a family affair that works beautifully for all.

“I have peace and comfort seeing the wonderful care my mom and Grammy receive here, and in the great experience my daughter has working at Tallgrass Creek,” says Schaffer.

Schaffer’s mom, Karen, a former accountant, moved to Tallgrass Creek recently. Karen’s mother, Ginny, is always out and about throughout the community.

Ginny has lived at Tallgrass Creek for eight years and loves living where her daughter lives and where her granddaughter and great-granddaughter work.

“This is truly my home,” says Ginny, who enjoys Tallgrass Creek’s fitness center, salon, movie nights, and beautiful landscaping. “It is wonderful knowing you’ll see your family every day.”
