For folks who’ve never been to Maris Grove, Erickson Living’s retirement community in Delaware County, Pa., scheduling an appointment with Sales Counselor Kimberly Janson will let you see the community for yourself.

You’ll view the beautiful plantings and wooded glens of its 87-acre campus, tour lovely model apartment homes, and experience the friendly environment within its three neighborhoods.

Janson’s appointments are low-key, no-pressure conversations designed for you to ask questions and talk about what you’re looking for in a retirement community. They’re also an opportunity for Janson to answer all your questions and tell you about the benefits of living at Maris Grove.

Janson aims to give you the facts so you can make a decision that’s truly right for you.

Peace-of-mind benefits

As detailed in its Residence and Care Agreement, Maris Grove’s entrance deposit is 90% refundable. That deposit will be returned to you or your heirs—when your apartment home is reoccupied—whether you live out your life at Maris Grove or choose to move elsewhere.

Also, your monthly service package will remain fixed for an entire year. It covers expenses ranging from property taxes and utilities to maintenance services and a 24/7 security and emergency response team.

You’ll live maintenance-free in your apartment home and outside, too, because Maris Grove’s grounds crew does the planting, raking, and snow removal.

You’ll especially enjoy the convenience of on-site amenities including a medical center staffed by full-time physicians, a bank, a fitness center, and six restaurants.

And you’ll take part in the laughter and lively goings-on in Maris Grove’s three clubhouses as you join neighbors in the active, creative pursuits offered by more than 180 special-interest groups and activities.

You will never be bored at Maris Grove.

Steps along the way

Of course, you have to move to Maris Grove to begin reaping the benefits of its lifestyle.

But its sales office provides assistance to simplify even that. Joining Maris Grove’s priority list opens the door to such assistance and your new carefree years.

Comprised of people who plan to move to an Erickson Living community, the priority list allows prospective residents to save their place in line for an apartment home that fits their lifestyle. It takes only a fully refundable $1,000 deposit and a $150-per-person nonrefundable application fee to join.

The date you submit your deposit is your official priority list date. When your preferred floor plan becomes available, the sales team gives first right of refusal to you based on your joining date.

Janson encourages members to schedule a complimentary home visit early on from Suzanne McAllister, Maris Grove’s personal moving consultant. She’ll help you develop a downsizing plan regardless of when you want to move.

When you receive the call saying your desired floor plan is available, you should be ready to list your house.

Shed homeowner responsibilities

Once that happens, Maris Grove provides even more help.

Through Erickson Realty and Moving Services, a special program for priority list members, McAllister provides complimentary coordination of all realty and moving needs, from downsizing and packing to the selection of a real estate professional.

She monitors the entire process and is a telephone call away to answer questions.

If you’ve had enough of homeowner responsibilities and aren’t looking forward to fall and winter outside chores, call Maris Grove’s sales office at 1-800-520-2916 to arrange a personalized visit with Kimberly Janson.

Because today’s housing market overwhelmingly favors sellers and shows no sign of slowing down, this might be the perfect time to sell and move to Maris Grove where, regardless of the season, you’ll live carefree.
