Director of Finance Theresa Palladino keeps Windsor Run’s financial house in order.

Erickson Living boasts a strong financial record that provides community members with the peace of mind that comes with making a financially sound investment. Future residents at Windsor Run need only to look to Director of Finance Theresa Palladino for answers to their important financial questions.

“In the months leading up to our grand opening, I’ve met with numerous people interested in learning about Windsor Run’s financial structure,” she says. “People want to know how their money will be spent and additionally, how it will be protected. They’ve worked hard for their money and want to make a smart financial decision for their future.”

Solid performance

With more than 12 years of senior living experience, almost exclusively with Erickson Living, Palladino most recently served as the director of finance at Lantern Hill, an Erickson Living community in Providence, N.J. Like Windsor Run, Lantern Hill is one of Erickson Living’s newest communities.

Prior to working at Lantern Hill, Palladino served as the assistant finance director at Ann’s Choice, an Erickson Living community in Bucks County, Pa., and as CFO/controller for a senior living campus on the eastern shore of Maryland. She received her M.B.A. and B.S. degrees at Salisbury University Perdue School of Business.

Cornerstone of success

“The heart of Windsor Run’s financial structure is Erickson Living’s industry-leading, 90% refundable entrance deposit as well as the many benefits of the monthly service package,” says Palladino. (The Residence and Care Agreement has full details.)

Windsor Run’s entrance fee is the cost of a resident’s apartment home and is based on the home’s individual features. The monthly service package covers the costs of all utilities including telephone, all major repairs, 24-hour security, declining balance dining plan, secure Internet/Wi-Fi, and cable television. Home and seasonal maintenance, professional landscaping, furnace heat pump inspections and conditioning, and snow removal, are also part of the package.

“The monthly service package is a wonderful structure,” says Palladino. “I tell our future residents that I wish I could combine all my bills like that. Rather than writing several checks or forgetting to pay a bill, it’s all conveniently in one place, and the same cost every month, which allows you to budget better than the best financial planner.”

Another financial benefit of moving to Windsor Run will be the numerous opportunities for activities and socializing. Community members will enjoy access to a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool and spa, classrooms, library, restaurants, and a cornhole court.

“I can say with absolute confidence that Windsor Run provides extensive value for the money spent and, most importantly, is a solid financial decision for the future.”
