Bell Pavilion, Lantern Hill’s sixth residence building, welcomed its first residents on Monday, October 7. The new residence building features a restaurant, bar, fitness center, courtyard, bocce courts, community gardens, and underground parking.

Lantern Hill is bustling this holiday season, not only as the community hosts various festive activities by and for residents, but especially as new neighbors move and settle into Bell Pavilion, the community’s sixth residence building, which opened earlier this fall.

The new 168-apartment, 5-story building features a host of amenities and services, like a restaurant, bar, fitness center, courtyard, bocce courts, community gardens, and underground parking.

“It’s a wonderful time to move to Lantern Hill because there is so much going on this time of year,” says Sales Counselor Kathy Banks. “Our three hand chimes choirs perform a Christmas program; the community is decorated; our dining services team prepares special holiday menus and events; you have religious services to attend on campus. It’s just such a welcoming time of year.”

Totally winter-proof

And with beautiful views of the new community gardens, landscaped courtyards, and Bell Labs campus in the spring and summer, residents can enjoy watching the snow fall this time of year knowing they’ll never have to shovel it again. Nor will winter weather keep them from continuing on with life as usual—glass-enclosed walkways connect every building, eliminating the need to go outside to hit the gym, aquatics center, class, club meeting, or dinner with friends.

Though most of the apartment homes in Bell Pavilion are reserved, a few opportunities to select a brand new apartment home at Lantern Hill remain.

Many homes feature peaceful views of Bell Labs, the beautiful courtyard, or woodland, with all apartments boasting high ceilings of 9 to 10½ feet, depending on the floor. The first floor features 10½-foot ceilings; the second, third, and fourth feature 9½-foot ceilings, and the fifth floor features 9-foot ceilings.

Each apartment home comes with modern finishes like wood floors in the kitchen, living room, and dining area and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Those who reserve a home in Bell Pavilion or in any of Lantern Hill’s other five residence buildings have the opportunity to customize their apartment home by adding custom closets, window treatments, and additional wood flooring in the bedroom.

Bell Pavilion, the sixth building on Lantern Hill’s campus, is located at the site of the former sales center, just off Mountain Ave., in New Providence, N.J.
