Eagle’s Trace, the Erickson Living-managed community in West Houston, is now accepting reservations for Austin Square, a new residence building scheduled to open in 2021.

Featuring new apartment homes in a variety of one and two-bedroom floor plans, Austin Square is the highly anticipated third building in the community’s second neighborhood.

“We’ve been planning this building for two years, and we’re thrilled to share the details,” says Executive Director Stephen Aigner. “Austin Square, like the other buildings in neighborhood two, will house new and exciting amenities in addition to apartment homes. It’s an approach that’s been well received, with residents enjoying the close proximity of amenities to their apartments.”

Amenities planned for Austin Square include the Waterloo Restaurant, a pickleball court, a flexible fitness studio, and a life enrichment center.

“We’re excited to bring these new amenities to our small town of Eagle’s Trace,” says Sales Director Pamela Burgeson. “They’ll make our community even brighter and more fun for our residents.”

Perks of the priority list

Priority list members were the first to receive invitations to reserve an apartment in Austin Square. One of the benefits of priority list membership at Eagle’s Trace is advance notification of any new construction, new services, apartment home availability, custom interior options, special pricing, and exclusive community events.

“Joining the priority list is the first step toward becoming a resident at Eagle’s Trace,” says Burgeson. “Whether you see yourself moving in several months or several years, joining the list is the best way to give yourself the most choices when you’re ready to move.”

All it takes to join is a fully refundable $1,000 deposit, plus a $150-per-person nonrefundable application fee, to reserve your place in line for the apartment home of your choice.

The day you join the priority list becomes your priority list date, giving you first right of refusal on any of your preferred floor plans over anyone else who joins the list after you. Passing on an apartment doesn’t change your priority list status. Should your plans change, you can even transfer your priority status to another Erickson Living-managed community.

“The priority list comes with an array of exclusive benefits,” says Burgeson. “It helps you stay connected to everything happening on campus.”

Insider’s look at community life

When you join the priority list at Eagle’s Trace, you’ll receive a coupon book filled with vouchers for an array of exciting campus events. The coupons allow you to dine in the community’s restaurants, get pampered at the salon, take part in resident-run clubs, and join your future neighbors for off-campus outings.

“The coupon book allows you to experience what it’s like to live at Eagle’s Trace,” says Burgeson. “You can experience our lifestyle and decide if it’s right for you.”

Priority list members also enjoy access to the on-site medical center, staffed by full-time physicians specializing in senior health, and priority access to the continuing care neighborhood, including post-acute rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.

When the time is right to move, priority list members enjoy all the resources available through Erickson Realty and Moving Services. Haven Benoit, personal moving consultant at Eagle’s Trace, offers complimentary coordination of moving resources, including referrals to trusted real estate agents, senior move managers, and moving companies.

“As you plan for the future, there’s really no better first step than joining the priority list,” says Burgeson. “We have all the resources and support to help you through every step of your move, from choosing an apartment to your first day as a resident.”
