When George Murray toured Ann’s Choice last year with two of his sons, the friendliness they encountered and the extensive amenities and activities they learned about made all three Murrays feel good about Erickson Living’s retirement community in Bucks County, Pa.

When Marie Dmoch retires from her sales counselor position at Ann’s Choice on June 30, Ryan Doherty, promoted to sales counselor several months ago, will succeed her in the role.

On June 30, Marie Dmoch will retire from her 16-year position as Ann’s Choice’s sales counselor. Then Ryan Doherty, who was promoted to sales counselor last September, will handle the reins on his own.

Bud Williams, who retired from his role as senior facilities manager at Ann’s Choice, and his wife Cheryl (shown in their kitchen) moved to the community this spring.

For Bud and Cheryl Williams, moving from Churchville, Pa., to Ann’s Choice was a simple decision.

The Erickson Living retirement community in Bucks County opened in 2003. Bud started working there in 2004 when the third of Ann’s Choice’s now 15 residence buildings was under construction.

Since 2008, when they joined the Ann’s Choice priority list, primary care physicians Phyllis and Richard Buckwalter knew they’d eventually move from their home in Horsham, Pa., to Erickson Living’s retirement community in Bucks County.

After she stopped driving, Bernice Segal felt isolated in her two-bedroom condo in tiny Yardley, Pa. She wanted to be around people, but her neighbors all worked.

People who live at Ann’s Choice, Erickson Living’s retirement community in Bucks County, Pa., form strong friendships over meals and during shared activities. They support one another in times of sorrow and difficulty.

With more than 150 campus activities and amenities, Ann’s Choice, Erickson Living’s retirement community in Bucks County, Pa., offers something for everyone, including couples like Wendy and Gordon Larson, who moved from Naperville, Ill. 

While Wendy favors spiritual and intellectual pursuits, “Gordon likes to go places and do things,” she says. 

Ann’s Choice resident Dave Jones’ latest short story gets a rave review from his wife Cynthia, who serves as his editor.

Every year, Ann’s Choice makes lifecycle renovations on some part of its campus. This updated entrance lobby was part of the 2015 makeover in Village Clubhouse.
