In 1964, Allyn Carol Ravitz, who completed her undergraduate degree at Smith College, had recently married and decided she wanted to attend law school at the University of Michigan, where her new husband at the time was currently enrolled.

Fox Run’s dining services department provides jobs to dozens of local high school students. Many of the students work as servers in the community’s four on-site restaurants, which serve 1,000 delicious meals to residents and employees every day.

Virginia Becker retired in 1988, and she’s traveled just about every year since then. Her travels have taken her as far as Japan and Africa and many places in between. Some of her most memorable adventures include an African safari and an archeological dig in England.

Dolores Phillips is a connoisseur of cruises. Over the years, she has taken about 30 of them.

“I don’t think there’s a country we missed,” Dolores says of her extensive travels. “We liked cruises because we wanted to have fun, not carry suitcases.”
