Each morning before breakfast, Phyllis Clark can be found logging miles on a treadmill in the Wind Crest fitness center. For Clark, the treadmill represents her philosophy about life. You ve got to keep moving, the sprightly 92-year-old says. Even for those who haven t laced up their running shoes lately, Clark says it s never to late to begin.

Carpenters are limited only by their imaginations in the Wind Crest wood shop. The members, who number close to 40, churn out dozens of projects each year and have hundreds more on their to-do lists. We ll give anything a try, says Len Hilgartner, who lives at Wind Crest and manages its wood shop. We ll try and make anything for anyone, he adds enthusiastically.

Bea and Robert Hansen were ready to move to Wind Crest in Highlands Ranch. Their old two-story home near the West Woods Golf Course in Arvada was becoming a handful to maintain. When we first started looking to move, I thought I could just sell it myself, says Mrs. Hansen, who has years of experience as a real estate broker.
