One person can make a difference in the environment, and Tallgrass Creek proved it. When the community invited individuals to bring their own stashes of paper to be shredded, they amassed a grand total of 1.5 tons of paper.

The recent Arts and Crafts Fair atBrooksby Villageattracted nearly 500 people to tables of handmade creations, including knitted clothing, paintings, photographs, and jewelry. The 27 vendors gave a portion or all of their proceeds to the community s scholarship fund for student employees.
