Wind Crest Activities Fair Showcases Community’s Vibrant Retirement Lifestyle

More than 60 resident-run clubs and groups attract more than 130 current and future residents

Highlands Ranch, Co. – August 22, 2019 – Wind Crest, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living, recently hosted its annual Activities Fair. More than 60 clubs and groups participated, serving a diverse range of interests from social to spiritual, volunteering, health and wellness, arts and entertainment, and much more.

The clubs at Wind Crest are created for residents, by residents, offering fun and engaging activities for every interest right on campus. There's no pressure to join anything; residents are free to participate as much or as little as they like. With Wind Crest's maintenance-free lifestyle, many residents find they have more time to pursue their hobbies and passions after joining the community.

This year, more than 130 current and future residents, including members of Wind Crest's Priority List, attended the fair. Several groups participating for the first time attracted enough interest to schedule their very first meetings.

"There was a lot of excitement from resident group leaders who had several new people sign up to join their club or group," said Debby Tornabene, Community Resources Coordinator, who played a lead role in organizing this year's Activities Fair. "Our leaders enjoyed sharing club information and passion for their respective group to attendees interested in getting involved with activities at Wind Crest. We appreciate all that our resident leaders do; without their participation we could not have had such a successful event."
