Pricing, Retirement and Understanding Our Financial Structure at Wind Crest

Investing in Your Financial Future

You budget wisely and make smart investments, but costs can still add up quickly, especially when you’re a Denver-area senior living on a retirement income. At Wind Crest in Highlands Ranch, we’ve built a financial model that helps you manage your current expenses and safeguard your future.

There Are Two Basic Costs to Life Here:

  1. 90% Refundable Entrance Deposit*
You’ll secure your independent living apartment home with this one-time deposit. Should you wish to move, 90% of your deposit will be returned to you. Should you choose to spend the rest of your life with us, 90% will be refunded to your beneficiaries.

  2. Monthly Service Package
Just one check each month covers almost all of your daily expenses, such as heating and cooling, property taxes, cable TV, and even select meals at our campus restaurants. The cost of the Monthly Service Package remains predictable all year long.

The Proof Is in Our Financial Track Record

As you investigate your senior living options here in the Denver area, consider the financial facts that set Wind Crest apart:

  • Fee-For-Service
As a fee-for-service community, we don’t make you pay upfront for services that you may never need. Here, you only pay for a higher level of heath care if and when you need it.

  • Home for Life Commitment
Wind Crest maintains a Benevolent Care Fund. This fund assists eligible residents who outlive their resources. No one has ever been asked to leave because of a genuine inability to pay.

  • Consistent Growth
Since opening our doors in 2007, we’ve seen steady growth. Currently, our Denver community boasts seven residence buildings, two clubhouses, and an on-site continuing care neighborhood, Mill Vista Lodge.

  • Not-for-Profit Community
Wind Crest is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and an affiliate of National Senior Campuses, Inc. (NSC). The focus of the boards of NSC and its affiliated communities is on pursuing their not-for-profit missions and on the people who call the NSC communities home.

  • A Steady Rate of Occupancy
As of January 2015, we have an occupancy level of more than 96.9%.

  • We’re Leaders in Senior Living
Wind Crest is managed by Erickson Living, a network of retirement communities with 35-plus years of experience in senior living. Currently, Erickson Living manages 19 communities in 11 states.
