Will the cost of my Monthly Service Package increase?
The Monthly Service Package is typically adjusted annually to reflect labor, food, and energy costs. Any adjustments must first be approved by the not-for-profit board of directors.
Do you offer housekeeping?
Yes. Housekeeping services are available for a nominal fee.
Do you accept Medicare?
Yes. We accept Medicare and many other insurance plans. Coverage for services depends on the terms of your insurance plan.
Can I bring my pet?
Absolutely! We welcome cats, dogs, and most birds.
Can I bring my car?
Yes. A limited number of private parking spaces are available for residents. However, you may find yourself driving less and less—thanks to our convenient shuttle service.
Are you a nursing home?
No. We’re a continuing care retirement community, also known as a CCRC. The vast majority of our residents enjoy active and independent living; however, we offer additional care services should your health needs ever change.
Do I have to eat at an assigned time or at an assigned table?
No. You’re free to dine whenever and with whomever you wish during restaurant hours.
Can my family visit me?
Of course. Per our guest policy, you are welcome to have family visitors or guests whenever you choose.
What time do you lock the doors?
We never lock you in or out. This is your home; you’re free to come and go as you please.
Can my grandkids stay overnight?
You bet! Friends and family are welcome to stay with you temporarily in your apartment home. We also offer a limited number of fully furnished guest suites for a nominal fee.
How will I meet people and get acclimated?
You’ll be invited to a new resident orientation where you’ll learn the ins and outs of the community. In addition, members of our friendly, resident-run welcome committee will check in to make sure you’re feeling right at home.
What if I don’t want to be social all the time?
Don’t worry; you don’t have to be. You can participate in the activities here as much or as little as you wish.
