Meet the Windsor Run Leadership Team

Get to know the executive team that governs our community.

George Comfort, Executive Director

George Comfort was appointed as the executive director of Windsor Run in May 2017. Previously, he served as the associate executive director of Ann’s Choice, a sister community located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Erickson Living, he was the executive director of NorthBay, LLC, one of the largest and most innovative residential environmental education centers in the nation. George holds an M.A. degree in management of aging services from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a B.S. degree in computer science and math from Vanderbilt University. He serves on the board of directors for NorthBay, a nonprofit environmental education organization located in North East, Maryland, that devotes its resources to underserved students from the mid-Atlantic region.

Bo Lundh, Associate Executive Director

Bo Lundh has enjoyed a distinguished career with Erickson Living since joining the organization in 1995 as the senior accountant for Oak Crest in Parkville, Maryland, and later as its controller. In 2000, he became the director of finance for Riderwood, a sister community in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 2005, Bo was promoted to assistant executive director, and in 2010 he served as the community’s director of operations, overseeing the Resident Life and Philanthropy departments. In 2016, Bo returned to Oak Crest as its associate executive director. Prior to joining Erickson Living, he had nine years of finance experience working for the Swedish Government in the areas of health care and elder care. Bo holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Lund in Sweden.

Ryan Barkley, Director of Sales

Mr. Barkley brings more than 12 years of sales experience to Windsor Run. Beginning in 2012, he moved through the ranks from an associate to sales manager at Riderwood, a sister Erickson Living community located in Silver Spring, Maryland. He previously worked for RE/MAX, LLC. Mr. Barkley holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and a real estate license, retaining membership with the National Association of Realtors®. He volunteered for ten years with Young Life, a national youth ministry, and served as a high school cross country and track coach for three years in Maryland. Mr. Barkley now resides in Waxhaw with his wife and two sons. 

Theresa Palladino, Director of Finance

Theresa Palladino brings over 12 years of senior living experience to her role as director of finance at Windsor Run. Most recently, she served as director of finance at Lantern Hill, an Erickson Living community in New Providence, New Jersey, and assistant finance director at Ann's Choice, an Erickson Living community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Before joining the Erickson Living family, Theresa served as CFO/controller for a senior living campus on the eastern shore of Maryland. Theresa received her M.B.A. and B.S. degrees at Salisbury University Perdue School of Business.

Dr. Allison Vessels, Director of Human Resources

Dr. Allison Vessels brings more than 24 years of human resources experience to Windsor Run. Previously, she worked for Transformant Healthcare Solutions, LLC, as director of human resources. Dr. Vessels holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Presbyterian College and a master of human resources development and doctorate of education in human resources development from Clemson University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM) where she earned a senior certified professional (SCP) certification. She also maintains a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). A resident of Charlotte with her daughter, Emily, Dr. Vessels volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House.

William Bremer, Director of Dining Services

Mr. Bremer brings 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, notably in collegiate dining operations at Oberlin College, Case Western Reserve University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, serving populations in excess of 28,000. As director of dining services at Windsor Run, Mr. Bremer will oversee the establishment and operation of a full-service restaurant, bar, and bistro featuring diverse dining offerings ranging from formal to casual. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Bremer resides in Charlotte with his wife and two sons.

Shelby Glenn, Medical Practice Administrator

Mrs. Glenn brings more than 25 years of experience in the medical field with a background as a certified medical assistant to Windsor Run. Previously, she worked for OrthoCarolina as practice administrator. In her leadership position at Windsor Run, Mrs. Glenn will oversee the daily operations of the on-site medical center. Originally from Florida, Mrs. Glenn resides in Charlotte with her husband, John.The couple has two children. 

Geralyn M. Campi, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Campi was named medical director of Windsor Run in 2018. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Campi received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. Joseph’s University and her medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at Cooper Hospital/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden. Dr. Campi holds professional licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina and previously served as an internal medicine physician for the Carolinas Healthcare System.
